When Eisenhower was still young he moved to Kansas.Eisenhower was born David Dwight Eisenhower.Eisenhower went to West Point Caddet.Eisenhower had a wife named Mamie and two children.One was named Doud and John. Doud died when he was three.He was the leader of Camp Colt. He also went on a boat called the President Harding. Eisenhower was General of the US Army, or 5 star General, and Supreme Commander of the Allied forces in Europe during WWII. He Installed a putting green on the White house lawn. Dwight's nickname was Ike and when he ran for President his campaign slogan was I Like Ike. He hired rich people as his top advisors.Eisenhower went on a secret trip to Korea. Eisenhower also admitted the last 2 states Hawaii and Alaska. Dwight was also the only former Military General to serve as President in the 20th century. He also moved out side of Gettyburg, Pennsylvania. He painted many pictures. Another thing he did was he wrote two books, one was called Waging Peace and White House Years. Eisenhower died in 1969 of old age.
